We are very busy nowadays so couldn’t able to write a blogpost. Nevertheless i’ ve been wanting to write a blogpost about our experiences after publishing HogFrog on iTunes. It’s been a little hard period updating the game every week because of the other ongoing projects. But we have managed to get across problems from my point of view:).
Anyway let’s talk about what we do after publishing the games first version on iTunes. We have recently published version 1.4 with some cool new features like Heyzap and 1.4.5 is on the way(submitted). Of course the actual version is much more stable and bug free than the first one. But what i wanted to mention is not fixing bugs. Because before releasing game on iTunes we have published it in Turkey so we had time to fix several bugs. What surprised me was the hardness of levels. While designing levels we tested them hundreds times. Everything was ok because we wanted all the levels could be passed by one chance. So the challenge would be finding the way of tongue to collect all mosquitos at once.
It was obvious to us. But what we experienced in the past few months it’s not obvious for players as it’s to developers:))(What a surprising thing, right?) Our teachers always told us the questions, in the exams they prepared, were easy. In fact yes they were easy for them but not for us. Because they knew how to solve it. Now i understand how they felt:)
With the latest version we submitted to Apple, we have changed the first 5 levels. Now they are really really easy. Check it if you don’t believe me.
Oh yes what i have to mention before ending my blogpost is Heyzap…
Because HogFrog is very challenging puzzle game, our players should be able to share their progress in the game with their fellow friends so just pass the levels with 3 stars and share it…
That’s all for now.
By the way please mail us about the topics you want read on our blog. We will be glad to share our experiences with you…
